This role will involve taking cutting edge research-based python code and integrating it into the backend that productionises it within the Advai architecture. This can include development of new high quality services, documentation, troubleshooting, integration and testing of new and existing code.

Qualifications & Skills

— University Degree
— 2 years+ experience of Python Development
— Familiarity developing with web frameworks
— Configuring commercial software solutions to customer databases, platforms, and toolkits

— Working with end-users to understand workflows, requirements, and feature requests

— Critical thinking & structured problem solving

— Debugging complex, multi-service applications

This role will involve front end development and design of the react UI to present key platform information to an end user. This takes key information from AI systems that presents complex information to users in an intuitive and informative manner.

The job will require understanding of user requirements to create complete user journeys for new features. The role will also require integration of APIs and microservices that are power the creation of task queues, crud operations and integration with 3^rd party services.

— Experience working with microservices

This role will consist of managing the Advai cloud and DevOps environment, and being able to maintain, build and monitor resources and pipelines. Initially in AWS but there is also scope for working in Azure in the future. Candidates should be familiar with GitHub, AWS CDK and be able to manage the complete CI/CD lifecycle including testing.

Ideally candidates will be able to demonstrate a consistent approach, and strong problem solving with the ability to take wide ranging requirements and identify how to break them down into actionable tasks. Familiarity with Agile and SCRUM methodologies is desired to link in with development teams, and

The role has the opportunity for expansion in the future, allowing for growth of the team, but also potential for expanding skills into supporting additional services that are designed along with the Advai platform and emerging research.

The role will require you to implement, run and improve Agile practices used by development and product teams. You’ll coach development teams to refine processes, promoting accountability, transparency and continuous improvement, facilitating daily Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning / review and retrospectives, working with the team to ensure an upbeat, collaborative environment with a delivery focus.

Engagement with customers will also be key to ensure that projects have the correct level of visibility and feedback required to succeeded.

Responsibilities

— You’re an experienced Scrum Master with a focus on delivery;
— You have an advanced knowledge of Agile processes and experience of coaching software development teams on ceremonies and team management;
— You’re data savvy and use metrics to track progress of sprints;
— You’re collaborative and pragmatic with excellent communication skills, able to establish a team focussed environment;
— You document and generate reports to feedback progress to teams and customers.

Qualifications & Skills

— 3 years+ experience of Software Development and leading sprints;
— Demonstrable expertise of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum;
— Configuring commercial software solutions to customer databases, platforms, and toolkits;

— Self-motivated, organized;

— Git, DevOps & CI/CD Pipelines;

— Cloud technologies & micro services;

— Experience in defining and developing high-volume, horizontally scalable web architectures.
