The government's Frontier AI Taskforce is establishing an AI safety research team to assess risks in cutting-edge AI development.

  • Frontier AI Taskforce backed by Prime Minster and Technology Secretary
  • Advai, a UK AI success story, has grown out of UK Ministry of Defence contracts and now applies its proprietary technology to overcome the challenges of AI adoption
  • Advai’s state of the art technology and research is accelerating trustworthy Artificial Intelligence
  • Advai’s technology can be applied in ANY context where AI systems need to function effectively

LONDON, 23rd October 2023: Advai Limited, a global leader in the simple adoption of safe and secure Artificial Intelligence, is excited to announce that it has entered into a partnership with the Frontier Artificial Intelligence Taskforce (AITF). Together, Advai and AITF will identify and explore the limitations and vulnerabilities of Large Language Models (LLMs) and the security implications that stem from them.

The partnership gives validation to Advai’s state of the art technology that sits at the heart of the UK’s AI Safety & Security community. Using proprietary technology to proactively stress and measure AI systems, Advai enables the deployment of AI whilst protecting those impacted by its decisions, assessing the performance, security and robustness of AI.

The Frontier AITF was announced by the Prime Minister and Technology Secretary in April 2023 and is responsible for spearheading the UK’s efforts to be at the forefront of Responsible AI adoption. With an initial investment of £100 million, the AITF has been tasked with ensuring sovereign capabilities and the broad adoption of safe and reliable foundation models, as part of the UK government’s aim to be a science and technology superpower by 2030.

David Sully, CEO and co-founder of Advai, comments: “This is an exciting opportunity for Advai to demonstrate our world leading technology at the centre of one of the most important technological advances of our lifetime. AI safety and security has been Advai’s key focus for the past 3 years and we look forward to this being an enduring relationship with AITF. We believe having a clear, unbiased assessment of AI capabilities is key to accelerating the global adoption of trustworthy AI.”

Update: The Frontier AI Taskforce has since been made the AI Security Institute
